On September 2nd, 1973, the mausoleum started being built in Ba Dinh Square, where he declared the independence and freedom for Vietnam on September 2nd, 1945. It was September 2nd, 1969 he passed away. The construcion materials like marble and granite stone, sand, wood... were carried from different parts of Vietnam in the way that Vietnamese people paid respect to their old father.
